Memtherscan for X adds a compact M action beside the reply, repost, and like controls on X posts that contain media. Click it to import the post’s first image, GIF, or video into the public Memtherscan meme feed. The extension shows upload progress, confirms success, and links directly to the published meme. Confirmed uploads are remembered in this Chrome profile to reduce accidental duplicate imports. The extension does not read X cookies, passwords, private messages, or browsing history. It sends the URL of a post only after you click its Memtherscan action. Memtherscan’s server then retrieves the public post media and publishes the media, source URL, author handle, and post-derived title on Memtherscan.
