Memio is a lightweight, no-account browser extension for saving text worth keeping while you browse. Great for Personal Knowledge System hobbyists, or anyone wanting to save great ideas on-the-go. Highlight any text on a page and clip it instantly — or type a note directly. Everything stays local by default, with no login, no sync to external servers, and no account required. What it does: > Clip highlighted text from any webpage in one click > Add your own freeform notes while browsing > Tag clips for organisation > Search across everything you've saved > Export in JSON, CSV, or Markdown Connectors: > Obsidian — send clips directly to your vault via Local REST API > Notion — route clips to any database via integration token AI title generation: > Memio can auto-generate titles for your clips using your own API key (Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini).
