MemeBack
Overview
AI meme replies in Gmail (MemeBack API on Render + Imgflip).
MemeBack adds a MemeBack button inside Gmail’s reply composer so you can drop a quick, on-topic meme into your email without leaving the thread. How it works • Open a conversation in Gmail and start a reply. • Tap MemeBack in the compose area. • The extension reads the visible thread text from the page, sends it to the MemeBack service, and inserts a captioned meme image into your reply. Why use it • Saves time when a light meme fits the tone of a thread. • No extra accounts inside the extension—just install and use. • Works where Gmail’s normal reply box is on mail.google.com. Technical notes • MemeBack uses a hosted API to generate captions and Imgflip to render the image URL returned to your browser. • Connection is over HTTPS to the MemeBack API origin configured in the extension. Who it’s for People who live in email and want fast, playful replies—teams, friends, and anyone who’d rather send a meme than a wall of text. MemeBack does not add ads or paid gates in the extension. Quality and availability depend on the public MemeBack service and third-party APIs.
