Overview

Prints an oil change sticker from the repair order on screen, using the shop's own label printer.

Meineke Oil Sticker is an internal tool for ETF Auto service writers and technicians. After an oil change, the reminder sticker for the windshield has to be written out by hand — the mileage, the oil grade, the next service due. Everything on it is already sitting in the repair order on screen. This extension reads it from there. A "Print Oil Sticker" button appears on the repair order; it pulls the odometer, oil grade and oil type, works out the next service mileage and date, and shows you a card with what it found. Nothing prints until you confirm. If it cannot read enough to be sure, it tells you and prints nothing, rather than guessing at a sticker that goes on a customer's windshield. Printing goes to the shop's own label printer through a small program running on the same computer. No data is sent over the internet — the extension has no server and contacts no website. Runs only on meineke.tekmetric.com and tvpx.autovitals.com.
