meh.ai - A Playful Approach to Page Interaction meh.ai is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your web browsing experience by allowing you to interact with web pages in a fun and engaging way. Powered by on-device AI, meh.ai enables users to ask questions about page content, summarize information, and extract key insights through a seamless chat-like interface. Important Notes - Ensure compliance with Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Uses Policy. - Use the Chrome Dev channel (or Canary channel) with a version equal to or newer than 128.0.6545.0. - Verify that your device meets the necessary requirements, including having at least 22 GB of free storage space. Enable Gemini Nano and Prompt API To enable Gemini Nano and the Prompt API for local experimentation, follow these steps: 1. Open a new tab in Chrome and go to `chrome://flags/#optimization-guide-on-device-model`. 2. Enable **BypassPerfRequirement** to bypass performance checks. 3. Go to `chrome://flags/#prompt-api-for-gemini-nano` and enable it. 4. Relaunch Chrome. Confirm Gemini Nano Availability 1. Open DevTools and run the command: `await ai.languageModel.capabilities()).available;` in the console. 2. If it returns "readily", you are all set to use Gemini Nano.
