MeetMate is a private in-meeting AI assistant for Microsoft Teams in Chrome. Use live Teams captions to ask grounded questions during a meeting. MeetMate keeps recent meeting context, lets you ask follow-up questions, and can suggest concise replies, questions, facts, decisions, actions, and meeting summaries. Your own knowledge Upload private reference documents in MeetMate settings. MeetMate stores them locally in chrome.storage.local and searches them only when they are relevant to your question. Custom shortcuts Choose which shortcuts appear in the meeting UI and edit their prompts. The free plan shows up to three shortcuts; Premium can show more. End-of-meeting results MeetMate can save the captured transcript locally. Premium can optionally generate a structured end-of-meeting report. Bring your own model provider Configure a compatible model endpoint and API key, including OpenRouter. Meeting context needed for an AI request is sent to the configured provider when you ask MeetMate to generate an answer. No meeting bot and no audio capture MeetMate runs in your Chrome browser and reads Teams live captions. It does not join the meeting as a bot and does not record meeting audio. Get started 1. Install MeetMate. 2. Open a Microsoft Teams meeting in Chrome. 3. Turn on Live Captions. 4. Ask MeetMate a question or use one of your configured shortcuts. Privacy Settings, private knowledge documents, and saved local data remain in Chrome local storage unless you explicitly use an AI feature that sends the necessary context to your configured model provider.
