Meetly — Auto Join Meetings
Overview
Schedule a meeting link once and Meetly opens the tab a minute early, turns your camera off, and joins for you.
It is 09:29. You are in a document, or a terminal, or another call. The stand-up starts in a minute and the link is buried in an invite three tabs away. You find it at 09:31, the camera comes up pointing at your kitchen, and you are the person who joined late again. Meetly is the fix. Paste the meeting link once, pick a date and time, and it opens the tab a minute before the start, turns your camera off, and presses Join. You look up and you are already in the meeting. ★ WORKS WITH THE THREE THAT MATTER Google Meet, Zoom (browser client) and Microsoft Teams (browser client) are joined for you, end to end. Any other link — Webex, Whereby, a webinar page — is still opened on time; Meetly just can't press Join on a screen it doesn't know. ★ CAMERA OFF BEFORE JOIN. ALWAYS. Joining with a live webcam is the one failure that actually costs you something, so Meetly never presses Join until the camera reads as off. If a meeting app has changed its buttons and Meetly can't be sure, it stops and leaves you on the normal pre-join screen with a notification, rather than clicking blind. Both the camera and the mic default to off, and each meeting keeps its own setting — the all-hands can be silent while the 1:1 starts unmuted. ★ SCHEDULES THAT SURVIVE REAL LIFE • Wall-clock time. A 09:30 stand-up stays at 09:30 through a daylight-saving change and after your laptop crosses a time zone, because meetings are stored as a date and a time, never as a timestamp. • Repeats: just once, every day, Mon–Fri, or weekly — with an optional end date. A three-day workshop is a daily repeat that ends on day three. • Laptop asleep at 09:29? Meetly joins on wake, up to ten minutes past the start, then lets the meeting go rather than dropping you into the back half of a call that has moved on. • It never joins twice. Every occurrence is logged the moment it fires, so a browser restart, a second window, or a schedule edited on your other machine cannot reopen the same call. ★ TEN SECONDS TO ADD A MEETING Open the popup, paste the link, pick the time, done. "Up next" shows what is coming with a live countdown, and a Join now button for when a call starts early. No calendar to connect, no account to create, no OAuth screen to approve. ★ TUNE IT ONCE How early to open the tab (0–60 minutes), whether the tab jumps to the front, whether you get a notification, what new meetings default to, and the display name to fill in when Zoom or Teams asks a guest for one. The settings page also keeps a plain log of what Meetly actually did — opened, joined, or needed you — so a missed call is never a mystery. ★ NOTHING LEAVES YOUR BROWSER No account, no server, no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests of any kind. Your schedule lives in your own Chrome profile — Chrome's own sync carries it to your other machines if you have that on, and nobody else, us included, can see it. Meetly asks for access to four sites only: meet.google.com, zoom.us, teams.microsoft.com and teams.live.com. It does not read your browsing history or touch any other page you visit.
