Meeting Recorder lets you record any browser-based video call and save it as a local WebM file. Your recordings never leave your device. HOW TO USE 1. Open a meeting tab (Google Meet, Teams, Zoom Web, etc.) 2. Click the extension icon 3. Press "Start Recording" 4. When done, press "Stop & Save" 5. The recording saves automatically to your Downloads folder PLANS • Free — record up to 30 minutes per session • Pro — unlimited recording duration (license key required) FEATURES • Records audio and video from any browser tab • Audio continues playing while recording — you still hear the meeting • Files saved locally in WebM format (plays in VLC, Chrome, Firefox) • Timer shows recording duration • Recording continues even if you close the popup PRIVACY Recordings are processed and saved entirely on your device — never uploaded. The only external communication is license key validation with Gumroad when activating a Pro license. Free plan users make no network requests. PERMISSIONS • Tab Capture — to record audio and video from the meeting tab • Downloads — to save the file to your Downloads folder • Storage — to track recording state and store your license key locally • Offscreen Documents — required by Chrome MV3 for background MediaRecorder • Alarms — to enforce the 30-minute limit on the free plan • api.gumroad.com — for Pro license activation and validation only
