Meeting Coach is a side-panel coach for your Meetings (Google Meet/Zoom supported for now). It helps you speak better while the call is happening, then turns the call into notes you can act on. DURING THE CALL • Live transcript built from Meet's captions, with your turns told apart from other participants' • Talk share and speaking pace, so you can see when you are dominating or rushing • Coaching cues matched to the kind of meeting (sales call, interview, team meeting), detected from the meeting subject • Catch Me Up: a short recap if you looked away for a moment • Ask the call: type a question and get an answer taken from the transcript, with the supporting quote • Rough notes expanded into clear sentences, checked against what was actually said AFTER THE CALL • A five-section report: summary, decisions, action items with owner and due date, next steps, and open questions, each backed by quotes from the transcript • Call history and simple metrics across your calls • Copy to Markdown or CSV, or review proposed CRM updates and approve each change before it is written PRACTICE BEFORE THE NEXT ONE • Role-play a customer or interviewer by typing or speaking • A pre-call brief built from your notes and documents • A scripted sample call, so you can try everything without joining a real meeting YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS • Transcripts, notes and reports are stored on your device • Speech-to-text can run on your device; models download only when you ask • Audio is never recorded or stored. The optional audio-channel feature only measures who is speaking • Text goes to a cloud language model only if you choose one and add your own key • Site access is requested only when you turn on a feature that needs it, and you can revoke it at any time HOW TO START Open a Google Meet call, click the Meeting Coach icon to open the side panel, and allow access to meet.google.com when asked.
