Overview

Record everyone in a Google Meet call (all participants + your mic) and save the audio to a file.

Record your Google Meet calls — everyone in them — and keep the audio on your own computer. Meet Voice Recorder captures the whole conversation: every remote participant plus your own microphone, mixed into a single audio track and saved straight to your Downloads folder as a standard .webm file. WHY THIS ONE Most meeting recorders want an account, a cloud service, and a subscription. This one is a button. • Nothing leaves your computer. No server, no upload, no account, no analytics, no tracking. The audio goes from your browser to your disk and nowhere else. • Records everyone, not just one side. Google Meet mixes the other participants into the tab's audio, while your own voice comes from your microphone — this extension captures and mixes both, because Meet never plays your own voice back to you. • You can verify the privacy claim. The complete source code is public and dependency-free: https://gitlab.com/fastocloud/gmrecorder • No AI, no transcripts, no "free trial". It records audio to a file. That is the entire product. FEATURES • One-click start and stop from the toolbar, or a keyboard shortcut • Captures all call participants plus your microphone in one mixed track • Saves a standard .webm (Opus) file that any player or editor accepts • In-call reminder shows whether you are recording, so you don't forget to start • The reminder automatically hides while you share your screen, so other participants never see it • If you close the meeting tab mid-recording, your audio is saved instead of lost • Works without a microphone: deny mic access and it still records everyone else HOW TO USE 1. Join a Google Meet call 2. Click the extension icon, then Start 3. Allow the microphone once, in the tab that opens, if you want your own voice included 4. Click Stop — the recording downloads automatically PRIVACY This extension has no backend. It collects nothing, transmits nothing, and sells nothing. The microphone is used only to include your voice in your own local recording, and it is optional.
