Never lose what was said in a meeting again. Meet Transcript Saver quietly saves the live captions that Google Meet already shows, together with who said it and when, so you always have a searchable record of your calls. HOW IT WORKS • Join a Google Meet call. If captions are off, the extension turns them on for you (if they are already on, it leaves them alone). • Every caption line is saved with the local time, the time since the meeting started, and the speaker's name. • A small floating widget shows that capture is working. You can drag it anywhere, minimize it, and scroll through the whole conversation live. • Keeps working if you switch tabs or minimize the window. YOUR MEETINGS, ORGANIZED • All transcripts are listed in the extension popup. • Search by participant or meeting title (use commas to find meetings with several people). • Filter by date range, or use the Today / 7 days / 30 days shortcuts. • Rejoin a meeting from its saved link. • Download any transcript as a clean .txt file. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No audio is recorded or processed: the extension only reads the captions Google Meet displays on screen. • Everything is stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server, and there are no accounts, analytics or tracking. • Transcripts are also cached while the meeting is in progress, so they survive an unexpected browser close. NOTES • Captions must be available in your Google Meet account and language. • Please make sure everyone in the meeting is fine with the conversation being transcribed, and follow the laws and policies that apply to you.
