Meet Live Voice Translator is a live interpreter for Google Meet. You hear everyone in your language, and they hear you in theirs — in real time, in both directions, powered by the Gemini Live API. HOW IT WORKS • Other participants speak any supported language. You hear a natural translated voice, with the original audio turned down so you can still follow the tone. • You speak your own language. Your translated voice goes into the call as your microphone, so nobody else needs to install anything. • Live subtitles show the original and translated text side by side, in Chrome's side panel or in a floating panel on the call. TWO INDEPENDENT DIRECTIONS Choose the language you want to hear and the language others should hear you in. Each direction has its own on/off switch. The speaker's language is detected automatically. 13 LANGUAGES Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Indonesian and Thai. MADE FOR REAL CALLS • Three talk modes: automatically mute your mic while a translation is playing, hold Space to talk, or headset mode with no gating. • Push-to-talk shortcut: Alt+Shift+T. • Adjustable translation playback speed (1.0x–1.6x) and original-audio volume. • Interface in English, Vietnamese or Japanese. TWO WAYS TO CONNECT • Use your own Gemini API key (stored only in your browser), or • Sign in with Google and let our server issue short-lived, single-use access for each session. PRIVACY Audio is streamed directly from your browser to the Google Gemini API. It never passes through our servers, and nothing is recorded or stored. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
