MedMic is a companion browser extension for the Medilis Clinical Reporting Engine, designed to help healthcare professionals work more efficiently across browser-based reporting and desktop clinical systems. MedMic connects the Medilis CRE web workflow with approved desktop-side actions through the Medilis Windows Agent, enabling a smoother clinical reporting experience for radiologists, clinicians, healthcare organizations, and authorized Medilis users. Main capabilities include: • AI-assisted clinical dictation workflow inside Medilis CRE • Report processing support using Medilis CRE workflow actions • Image AI workflow access where enabled by the organization • Screen region capture for clinical images, scanned documents, and relevant visual content • PII-scrubbed preview support for selected image workflows • Optional insertion of finalized clinical text into active desktop EMR, RIS, PACS, or reporting windows • Connection between browser-based CRE actions and the approved Medilis Windows Agent • Support for reporting continuity when working between CRE and third-party clinical applications • Access to templates, macros, attached documents, and workflow tools according to the organization’s configuration MedMic is intended to support user-initiated workflow actions within approved Medilis environments. Medilis CRE remains the source of truth for report processing, AI workflow logic, user permissions, and clinical reporting behavior. The extension does not independently diagnose patients, interpret medical images, or replace clinical judgment. All clinical content must be reviewed, validated, and approved by authorized healthcare professionals before use in patient care. MedMic is intended for authorized Medilis customers, healthcare organizations, radiologists, clinicians, imaging centers, and support teams using the Medilis Clinical Reporting Engine and the approved Medilis Windows Agent.
