Mediaflow Companion
Overview
Companion between the Mediaflow web app and the desktop app: hand folders and selected images over in one click.
Mediaflow Companion connects the Mediaflow web app with the Mediaflow desktop app. Click the toolbar icon on a Mediaflow page and a menu shows what you can do with what you have open: • Open folder in Compare — the folder opens in the desktop app's Compare module with its images loaded, ready to review side by side. Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+M (⌘+Shift+M on Mac). • Open folder in AI Tagging — the folder is preselected in the desktop app's AI Tagging module, ready to recognise your own categories. Nothing runs until you start it. • Mark selection in AI provenance — the images you selected open in AI provenance, ready to be labelled. Works for one image or many. Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+K (⌘+Shift+K on Mac). Each entry tells you what it will act on — "Folder 1463954", "4 images selected" — or why it has nothing to do on the current page. Very large selections are capped at 300 images, and the menu says so before you click. Shortcuts can be changed at any time from the menu. REQUIREMENTS The Mediaflow desktop app must be installed (version 0.1.279 or later for AI Tagging). If it is not, the extension takes you to the download page. PRIVACY The extension only reads the address of the tab you use it on — that is where Mediaflow keeps the folder and your selection. It never reads page content, has no access to other websites and sends no data anywhere. The only permission it requests is "activeTab".
