Control HTML5 media speed, audio processing, and video appearance from one compact toolbar deck.

MediaDeck gives you one compact toolbar for adjusting HTML5 video and audio on regular web pages. Use MediaDeck to: - change playback speed from 0.25x to 6x, instantly or with smooth ramping; - boost volume, emphasize voices, soften treble, reduce low-frequency rumble, and compress loud peaks for nighttime listening; - adjust video brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma, and sharpness; and - zoom, crop, rotate, or flip video. MediaDeck can list multiple media elements found in the page and its covered frames. Your selected settings are saved with Chrome Storage Sync, so Chrome may make them available in your other signed-in Chrome browsers when sync is enabled. Page and media details are processed in your browser to provide the controls. MediaDeck has no developer-operated analytics, advertising, telemetry, or data-collection server. Compatibility depends on how each site implements its player. MediaDeck works with standard HTML5 video and audio elements in the regular page DOM and covered frames once a media source is assigned. It does not discover media located only inside a shadow root or drawn into a canvas. Browser pages and the Chrome Web Store are restricted by Chrome. DRM, cross-origin media without suitable CORS support, live streams, and site scripts may limit individual audio, visual, or speed controls.
