An excellent solution for anyone looking for a replacement to streamkeys.

play / pause on mac doesn't work - just accelerates playback speed 2x. ff & rw keys do work. Shame about play pause issue

I copied script from this extension and pasted it to "Custom JavaScript for Websites 2" and did as Marius van Voorden said and it works like a charm

Workaround for the bug for people who are comfortable tinkering: - Find the extension folder in your chrome extensions on your hard drive - Edit "content.js", comment out the two lines that catch the play and pause event; we don't want the extension to meddle with those. MacOS. Seeking forward/backward works flawlessly, but after installing addon, play/pause is broken.

Forwards and backwards work fine but the pause button doesn't, all it does is accelerate the video 2x.

Was working great till youtube decided to change some stuff around, I have fixed the issue and have sent the fix to the creator of this extension so hopefully creator will update soon.

Since Youtube updated to show the adblock warning this extension hasn't worked correctly. It still skips ahead correctly but when you hit pause it speeds up 2X. Would love to see this fixed as this has become one of my most relied upon extensions (after uBlock Origin).

When i click Play/Pause ⏯ media key - it gets playing 2x speed. Please help??
