Measure Land Area
Overview
Measure land area on Google Maps in hectares, acres, square meters, and other units.
Measure Land Area outlines land on Google Maps and shows the area as you click each corner. Hectares are the default. You can switch to acres, square meters, or another unit in the panel. Side lengths use meters with a metric unit and feet with an imperial unit. Save an outline to keep it on the map. You can rename it, change its color, edit the corners, or delete it. Copy the figures for one outline, or export every saved outline as a text file. The outline stays on the ground when you pan or zoom. Use a flat top-down map. A tilted view is not accurate. This is a map estimate for planning. A legal boundary still needs a survey. Outlines are stored in the browser on your device. They are not sent to the developer.
