OAuth Assist for HA
Overview
Captures mobile-app OAuth redirects and forwards the authorization code to Home Assistant's official redirect service.
Some Home Assistant integrations sign in through a provider's mobile-app login. Those logins finish on a redirect that a desktop browser can't open (a custom app URL such as com.acme.app://callback?code=…), so the setup stalls at the last step. OAuth Assist for HA catches that redirect and hands the authorization code to Home Assistant's official redirect service (my.home-assistant.io), so the integration's setup finishes normally. How it works • Providers are added as small JSON profiles, published alongside the integrations that need them. Import one on the options page. • Enabling a profile asks for access to that provider's login site only. The extension has no site access until you do. • Codes are only ever sent to Home Assistant's official redirect service. That destination is fixed in the extension, and no profile can change it. • Codes are auto-forwarded only for Home Assistant login flows. Anything else is shown on a local page for you to copy. • No analytics, no servers, no remote code.
