Bookmarkora — Bookmark Sync
2 ratings
)Overview
Sync bookmarks to GitHub, Gitea, WebDAV, or S3—with auto-sync, tools, snapshots, E2E encryption, and tab sessions.
What Bookmarkora is for Bookmarkora keeps your browser bookmarks in sync across computers and browsers—without locking them into a vendor cloud. You connect storage you already trust (a git remote, WebDAV folder, object storage, or personal cloud drive). Bookmarkora reads and writes that file on your behalf. Nothing is relayed through our servers. Use the same remote from Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Safari users can add the optional macOS companion app. Why you should install it • You switch devices often — work laptop, home PC, or a second browser profile, and you want one bookmark tree that stays current. • You want ownership — bookmarks and tokens stay on your machine or in accounts you configure; we never see your data. • Built-in sync is not enough — Chrome/iCloud sync can fight each other or trap you in one ecosystem; Bookmarkora works across browsers with a backend you choose. • You need safer sync — merge instead of blind overwrite, delete protection, snapshots, and a clear local vs cloud count. • You care about cleanup — find duplicates and broken links, preview merges, restore from snapshots or remote history. • Optional privacy — turn on end-to-end encryption for the remote file; the passphrase never leaves your device.
