mdfier
Overview
Turn pages, selections and clipboard text into Markdown, locally.
Turn useful web content into an editable Markdown document with mdfier. • Capture the loaded page or pick one useful block. • Capture selected text from the page context menu. • Paste rich text, plain text, or existing Markdown. • Edit the result, preview it, copy it, or download a UTF-8 .md file. • Keep separate working drafts for open tabs and clear the active document in one click. • Use the panel in English or Ukrainian, with your system light or dark theme. Everything is processed locally in your browser. mdfier has no account, AI service, server, analytics, or content upload. It reads website content and the source URL only for the capture you request; drafts stay in the browser profile. Copy and Download run only after your explicit action. Website access lets Page, Block, and Selection work on ordinary sites while the panel is open. Browser-protected pages, iframe contents, Shadow DOM, canvas, and media cannot be captured. Page captures already loaded content without auto-scrolling or following pagination.
