Record any task in the browser and turn it into a step-by-step Chronika guide, with screenshots, click highlights and narration.

Chronika Recorder turns a task you do in Chrome into a step-by-step guide. Press Start capture and do the task as you normally would. Every click, typed field and page change becomes a step with its own screenshot and the click ringed. When you stop, Chronika writes up the guide: a title, an introduction and clear step text. You edit it, share it with a link or keep it in your team's library. WHAT YOU GET • One step per click, typed field and page change, each with a screenshot • Optional narration: talk while you work and your words become the step descriptions • Passwords and other secret fields are blurred on your computer before anything is uploaded, and what you type into them is never recorded • Pause and resume with Alt+Shift+P, or from the toolbar • Guide Me: walk someone through a guide on the live website, with a pointer on the next thing to click • Record into a personal or a team workspace PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Nothing is captured until you press Start capture • Site access is asked for the first time you record, not when you install, and is given back when you disconnect • Your recordings go only to your own Chronika address • Open and read the extension's source: it is plain JavaScript, no remote code WHAT YOU NEED A Chronika account at chronika.io. The recorder connects to your account with one click and a confirmation. Chronika also has a Windows app for recording desktop programs, so a guide can mix browser steps and steps from other applications.
