Markdown Notes is a Chrome extension that has one main purpose: allow users to take notes in Markdown. This is meant to be a simple wrapper around already existing great open source code editors to allow you to easily manage and take notes on your Chrome browser. What this extension lets you do: - Use open source editors to allow easy note taking in Markdown format on your browser. - Allow editing of notes in either a rich editor experience, or a source file editor - Automatically save changes made to your notes to your browser locally. What this extension does not do: - This extension does not store any personal information or require a login account. - This extension does not store any user usage information or any user data outside of your browser. No notes data is sent or used outside of your browser's local storage. - This extension is not responsible for the loss of any data entered or stored in this extension. This extension is only meant for non-critical note taking.
