MCPing — Minecraft Server Status & Monitor
1 rating
)Overview
Check any Minecraft server status instantly: online/offline, live player count, MOTD and ping. Java & Bedrock. Downtime alerts.
Stop launching the game just to find out whether your Minecraft server is up. MCPing puts live server status in your toolbar: online or offline, the current player count, real ping latency, and the message of the day exactly as it appears in game. Add the servers you care about once, then check any of them in a single click. WHAT YOU GET • Live status for every server you follow, with its icon and message of the day • Player count against capacity, so you can see at a glance when a server is filling up • Real measured round-trip ping, not an estimate • Java and Bedrock editions, on any port • An alert the moment a server stops answering, and another when it comes back • Busy alerts when players cross a threshold you choose • An alert when a specific player joins or leaves a server, with their skin’s head on the notification • Charts of how the player count moved over the last hours or days • An uptime timeline showing when each server was up, down, or simply not being watched • A check interval per server, so a busy network and a friend’s survival world do not have to share one • CSV export of everything recorded • Light and dark themes that follow your system • Fourteen languages, including full right-to-left support for Arabic HISTORY YOU CAN ACTUALLY TRUST Most Minecraft server status tools draw a straight line across the hours your browser was closed, or drop the count to zero. Both are fiction. MCPing keeps three states apart: the server was up, the server was confirmed down, or nobody was watching. Unmonitored time is greyed out rather than invented, and a failed lookup on your end is never recorded as an outage or turned into a false alarm. ALERTS THAT RESPECT YOU Only real transitions notify, and each alert type is muted for ten minutes per server. A flapping host produces one notification, not forty. BUILT TO BE TRUSTWORTHY No account. No analytics. No tracking. No third-party libraries. Manifest V3, and it requests no website access at all: installing it shows no "read your data on the sites you visit" warning, because it genuinely never touches the pages you browse. Your server list and your history stay on your device. Made for Minecraft server admins keeping an eye on uptime, community members checking whether their friends are on, and anyone running a network who wants a player-count history without standing up a monitoring stack. Status data comes from the public mcsrvstat.us and minetools.eu APIs. WHAT’S NEW 1.1.0 • Watch specific players: get a notification when one of them joins or leaves a server, with their skin’s head on the alert. • Notification rules can now be set per server as well as globally — which alerts fire, at what player threshold, and whether they make a sound. • Two new languages: Polish and Indonesian, bringing the total to fourteen. • The dropdown menus are drawn by the extension now, so they match the interface instead of the operating system. 1.0.1 • Six new languages: Italian, European Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Arabic and Japanese. Arabic reads right to left throughout. • Every server can now have its own check interval, be hidden from the popup while still being monitored, or be paused entirely. • Checks now run every 3 minutes by default, and the refresh button waits 20 seconds between manual refreshes. • MCPing now has a Discord: bug reports, feature requests, and new versions announced there first. The link is in Settings. 1.0.0 • First release. NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT.
