MCP Bridge for Figma
Overview
Lets your local figma-mcp-dev MCP server (Claude Code) read Figma web panels, including view-only files.
Connects Figma in Chrome to the figma-mcp-dev MCP server running on your own computer, so that Claude Code (or another MCP client) can inspect the design you have open, including files you can only view. What it does, only when your local server asks: reads the properties panel of the selected node (layout, sizing, padding, gap, borders, colors, typography); reads the pages and layer rows of the left panel; exports the selected node as PNG through Figma's own Export section (only when the file allows export). Requirements (macOS): install the figma-mcp-dev server with curl -fsSL https://github.com/tinhvqbk/figma-mcp-dev/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sh (it prints a pairing token; paste it once in the popup). Nothing is sent anywhere except to your own computer (ws://localhost:3056). This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Figma.
