Overview

Take timestamped notes and video screenshots while watching YouTube, across multiple videos, then export as Markdown or PDF.

Take notes while you watch YouTube, with every note tied to the exact moment in the video. Open the side panel, start a notes document, and type as you watch. Each note records the video timestamp, so you can jump straight back to that moment later. Tick "Screenshot" to save the current video frame with a note. • Timestamped notes: press Enter to add a note, Shift+Enter for a new line • Screenshots: capture the current frame of the video or Short, no browser screenshot needed • Works across videos: switch to another video or Short and keep adding to the same document • Every video is tracked automatically, with its title, channel and description included • Click any timestamp to jump back to that point in the video • Export your document as Markdown, copy it to the clipboard, or save it as PDF • Optionally send your notes to ChatGPT with a ready-made prompt (summarize, study guide, flashcards, quiz and more) Your notes and screenshots are stored in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server, and there are no accounts, ads or analytics. How to use: 1. Open a YouTube video and click the extension icon to open the side panel. 2. Click "Start notes" and give the document a title. 3. Watch and type notes, ticking "Screenshot" when you want the frame saved. 4. Move to other videos as you like; they are added to the same document. 5. Click Done, then export or share.
