showing gibberish

When I select my language which is "Manipuri (Meitei Mayek)" it seems that my computer does not recognise the language as it shows up boxes and gibberish instead of the language font. The language and font can be seen with no problem at the langauge selection page but it turns gibberish when i try to turn it on or write it. This problem is not there in another PC. What issue does my computer have that this problem occurs?
