WHO IT'S FOR Course++ is a course builder for teachers, instructors, professors and instructional designers who build courses in Canvas. Students: this is not a homework helper. It only works for people who teach or design the course, stays off on student accounts, and is built to refuse student work. WHAT IT CAN BUILD • Pages, assignments, quizzes, discussions and whole modules • A module for each lesson or unit, from an outline or lesson plan you type or paste in • Due dates, point values, rubrics and module order • Your course syllabus • Slideshows and pages with pictures (with alt text written for you) • Announcements, scheduled for when you want them • Fixes to content that's already there • A check of every link in your course, so you can fix dead ones Every build is saved in History, and most can be undone from there. IT WORKS AS YOU Course++ works inside the Canvas tab you already have open, using your own Canvas account. Every change shows up in Canvas as made by you, just as if you'd clicked it yourself, and it can only do what you can do. • It never sees your Canvas password • Nothing to set up: no keys, no codes, no IT install • Nothing goes to the AI until you send a request Your school may have its own rules about browser extensions and AI tools, so it's worth checking them. YOU STAY IN CHARGE It asks you first before it: • Deletes anything • Publishes an item or posts an announcement • Publishes or concludes a course • Changes a course setting • Sends an Inbox message to students BUILT TO PROTECT STUDENT PRIVACY Course++ is built to refuse grades, student work, rosters, discussion replies and reading your inbox. Those requests are blocked before they are ever sent. It does not grade. It removes email addresses, phone numbers and ID numbers from course content before anything goes to the AI.
