Natural Dark Mode turns bright webpages into a comfortable dark theme—without the ugly, washed-out look of full-page invert filters. WHAT IT DOES • Replaces light backgrounds with deep, low-saturation darks (#121212–#1e1e1e) • Raises dark text to high-contrast light (#e0e0e0–#f5f5f5) for easy reading • Softens colored UI (links, buttons, borders, cards) while keeping hues recognizable • Leaves images, video, canvas, and SVG alone (no invert)—only a subtle readability tweak • Skips or lightly adjusts sites that are already dark WHAT IT DOESN’T DO • Does not change layout, spacing, animations, or page structure • Does not break forms, focus states, or site scripts • Does not invert the whole page with filter: invert • Does not collect browsing data or sell user information HOW TO USE 1. Click the extension icon and turn Dark mode on 2. Or press Alt+Shift+D to toggle anytime 3.
