Overview
Extract, transform, and copy meta attributes.
Meta Splicer is a Google Chrome extension that extracts and displays meta attributes from web pages. It presents attribute names and values in a floating toolbar directly on the page, so you can view and copy meta information without inspecting the page source. Key Features - Extract meta attributes and display them in a floating toolbar on the page. - Customize extracted attribute values by trimming text from either side, inserting additional text, replacing or removing strings, and defining display limits. - Control how slashes are processed in extracted values and inserted text, including whether their original direction is preserved or adjusted based on your configuration. - Assign aliases to attributes, specify how many attribute pairs appear per line, and choose which attributes appear in the floating toolbar. - Reorder attributes and control table-column visibility to organize configuration data more efficiently. Release Notes: Version 1.4 Added - Added site-specific attribute selections and ordering for the floating toolbar. - Added named toolbar themes for Site Preferences. - Added the built-in Nature theme. Updated - Updated the Site Preferences table with Attributes and Theme columns. - Updated Site Preference matching to use the most specific domain and path. - Updated the theme-deletion confirmation to show the number of Site Preferences using each selected theme. Fixed - Fixed an issue where double-clicking inside editable fields moved the cursor instead of selecting a word or number. Active fields now preserve normal browser selection behavior. - Fixed an issue where text selections and in-progress edits could be lost in attribute fields, numeric settings, site URLs, and the Getting Started field. Selected content can now be replaced normally. - Fixed an issue where pressing Enter could commit an edit twice when the field also lost focus. Each edit now saves once. - Fixed an issue where an unsaved site URL edit could be lost when a theme was renamed. The URL edit now remains intact. - Fixed an issue where actions could continue after a tab closed, a content script was unavailable, or the extension context was invalidated. Meta Splicer now handles those unavailable contexts safely.
