Overview

Capture website screenshots, redact sensitive details, track revisions, and exchange feedback files. Stored on your device.

Turn a visible website problem into a screenshot with a clear requested change. Client Website Feedback helps you capture an HTTP or HTTPS webpage, crop it, permanently cover details with opaque rectangles, add a pin and description, and keep successive revisions in local projects. Start one capture with the toolbar button or the assigned keyboard shortcut (suggested: Alt+Shift+Y). Use an optional two-second delay to position the pointer over a hover menu. Inspect the screenshot and commit privacy review before saving processed evidence. Organize local issues, search and filter them, and compare stored revisions. Export complete feedback JSON, a self-contained HTML report, or a CSV issue summary. Open the bundled file reviewer from the project board to import a package, add a note, and export review notes for deliberate transfer back. Preview incoming notes, including duplicates and notes about older revisions. Reviewer labels are self-described and unverified; notes never approve an issue automatically. No account, cloud synchronization, AI, analytics, automatic sending or subscription. The core capture and review workflow runs inside the extension without a local server. A recipient using the bundled reviewer needs this extension installed. HTML reports can be viewed without it, but HTML does not provide interactive note return. Capture covers the visible viewport, not an entire scrolling page. Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, file URLs and other unsupported schemes are refused. Keep the source tab and window active until the editor opens. The raw screenshot expires after one minute; if interrupted, invoke a fresh capture. There is no automatic retry or recording. Privacy: screenshots may contain whatever is visible on the page. The extension processes that image locally and saves only the crop/redaction you commit. It does not automatically recognize or remove sensitive information. Inspect it before saving or sharing. Stored metadata includes the website origin (scheme, host and port), capture time, image dimensions, descriptions, pins and revision history. URL paths and query strings are not saved as capture metadata, but visible pixels and text you enter may contain such information. Local storage and exported files are not encrypted by the extension. Anyone with access to your Chrome profile or exported files may access that evidence. Limits include 10 projects, 25 issues and 40 MiB of media per project, and 100 MiB aggregate media. Export backups you want to keep. Removing local evidence cannot recall files already shared.
