Omni Viewer

Preview user-selected local files in Chrome with content-specific viewing tools.

Omni Viewer opens many local file formats directly in Chrome, without requiring separate desktop applications. Simply launch the extension and drag and drop a file, or select one from your device. Supported formats include: • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WebP, SVG, PSD • Documents: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HWP/HWPX • Data: CSV, TSV, JSON/JSONL, YAML, TOML, Parquet • Text and diagrams: Markdown, Mermaid, PlantUML • Audio and video: MP3, WAV, FLAC, MP4, WebM, MKV, MOV, and more • Archives: ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, GZ, JAR, APK, DMG, and more • Automotive data: DBC, A2L, ASC, ARXML, BLF, MDF/MF4 Key features: • One viewer for many file formats • Drag-and-drop and file picker support • Search, zoom, navigation, and format-specific inspection tools • Local file processing • No account, analytics, tracking, or ads • No host permissions Privacy: Your files are processed locally on your device. Omni Viewer does not upload file contents to an external server. Chrome storage is used only for small interface preferences such as the selected theme.
