Find who fills your inbox and turn thousands of Gmail conversations into a searchable overview. Gmail Census opens beside Gmail in Chrome's side panel. Scan your entire Inbox across categories and pages, group the captured results, and search one sender or several selected senders together. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan the entire Inbox, Primary only, or All Mail. Inbox scans include Promotions, Social, Updates and Forums. • Group by sender address, sender domain, subject, received month, read status, starred status or attachments. • Search captured results instantly by sender, domain, subject or group name. No rescan is needed to filter results. • Tick several results and search any selected group together in Gmail. • Use advanced From, To, Subject, word, size, date and attachment filters. • Export the displayed grouped results as CSV. • Choose light or dark appearance and compact rows. • Stop a scan and keep its partial results. LOCAL PROCESSING No separate sign-in or subscription. Gmail Census reads Gmail's displayed list locally. It does not send your inbox information to the developer, use external analytics, or open message bodies. Settings and advanced search fields are saved locally. Searches you request are performed in Gmail, and exports are downloaded to your device. Support and privacy questions: scony2200@gmail.com HOW TO START 1. Open Gmail in Chrome. 2. Click the Gmail Census toolbar icon and choose the Gmail tab you want. 3. Click Scan my inbox and keep that Gmail tab open while scanning. 4. Explore your groups, filter the results or select several groups to search together. PLEASE KNOW Counts describe Gmail list rows. With Gmail's Conversation view enabled, each row represents a conversation, which may contain multiple messages. Displayed sender and date values describe that list row. Date and status metadata may be unavailable in some Gmail layouts or languages. The extension navigates Gmail pages during a scan. If Gmail stops loading or the end cannot be verified, the results are marked incomplete. Avoid changing the Gmail view while scanning. Gmail interface changes may require an extension update.
