Save the lines that matter while you read, and then ask ChatGPT about them. May or Shall is a note taker for people who read a lot, built first for lawyers. Select a line on any web page, click Save, and it is kept as a note in your May or Shall account along with the page it came from. PDFs work the same way inside May or Shall. Then connect May or Shall to ChatGPT. When you ask a question or ask for a draft, ChatGPT looks through your own notes first and shows which note each point came from, so every line can be checked against its source. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select text on any page, for example a judgment, an order on a court website or a news report. 2. Click the May or Shall button that appears beside it, add a note if you like, and save. The note keeps the page's title and link, and the passage around your selection. 3. Open app.mayorshall.com to see everything you saved, kept by case or project, with a link back to each source. 4. In ChatGPT, add the May or Shall app and ask it to search your notes or draft from them. ALSO IN THE CLIPPER • Legal tags when you want them, such as Fact, Date, Admission and Case law. • Choose the case or project a note goes into, or create a new one from the clipper. • When a PDF is open in Chrome, the clipper offers to open it in May or Shall so you can highlight it there. The PDF is sent only if you click to add it. • Light and dark mode that follow your system. YOUR DATA The clipper sends only what you choose to save, to your own May or Shall account at app.mayorshall.com. There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with third parties. The privacy policy has the details. GETTING STARTED Install the extension, click its icon and sign in with your email address. Signing in is the connection, so there is nothing to copy or configure.
