Unofficial student-built overlay that enhances McGill's Minerva student portal. Not affiliated with McGill University.

Maxnerva is an unofficial, student-built add-on for McGill University's Minerva student portal. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to McGill University. It simply adds convenience features on top of the Minerva pages you already use, and it only ever runs on your own logged-in Minerva session. **Please note it is in very early development and any feedback or suggestions would be much apreciated.** WHAT IT DOES - Grade alerts — watches your Unofficial Transcript and flags grades that are overdue to be posted, so you're not refreshing the page all semester. - Seat watcher — pick a course section and get a desktop notification the moment a seat opens up, instead of manually re-checking Look Up Course Sections. - Registration schedule overlay — on the course search page, see your registered courses laid out on a weekly grid and instantly spot time conflicts before you register. - Weekly schedule view — see any week or term laid out as a clean Monday–Sunday grid, with waitlist positions and meeting times pulled from your own schedule pages. - GPA at a glance — your term and cumulative GPA computed from your transcript, right in the popup. - "Where is…?" navigation — type a plain-language question like "where do I add a class" or "how do I see my final grades" and get taken straight there, or shown the exact menu path to click. Matching runs entirely in your browser — no question you type ever leaves your computer. - Full English / French toggle — the whole extension, including the navigation search, works in both languages, matching how Minerva itself behaves. PRIVACY Everything happens locally in your browser. Maxnerva does not have a server, does not create an account, and does not send your grades, schedule, or anything else to the developer or any third party. Cached grade and schedule data is stored only on your own device so the extension loads quickly. Maxnerva only runs on horizon.mcgill.ca and does nothing on any other website.
