Overview

The unbiased credit-card advisor for Indian merchants. At every checkout, we name the card that pays you most.

MaxMunafa is a Chrome extension that ranks the credit cards in your wallet at every Indian online checkout, so you can swipe the one that pays you most. A small chip appears on supported merchant cart pages. Click it: the best card in your wallet for that checkout appears, with the rupee delta vs your default. Tap for the full math — the reward rate, the bank offer, the portal route, the cap headroom. Use that card. Net the savings. THE PROBLEM Affluent Indians hold 3–5 credit cards. Each has its own reward categories, caps, milestone tiers, and portal routing rules. The card that pays most varies by merchant, by category, by month, and by which bank offers are live right now. Remembering it at every checkout is the math you mean to do but rarely actually do. Payment apps and bank apps optimise for their own rails or their own cards. Spreadsheets need to be kept up to date by hand. MaxMunafa is the alternative: a recommendation that ranks every card you hold against the offers and routes available on this exact checkout, with the math shown. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in with Google. One-time, openid + email + profile only. No Gmail, no Drive, no Calendar access. You don't share your password with us. 2. Pick the cards you hold from our catalog. We store the card product, never card numbers. 3. Shop normally. When you reach a supported merchant's cart, a small chip appears bottom-right. 4. The chip names the best card and the rupee delta vs your default. 5. Tap the chip for the full math: the reward rate that applies, the bank offer if any, the portal route that earned the boost, the cap headroom remaining. That's the whole loop. Nothing happens on pages that aren't supported checkouts. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT — Unbiased: no bank pays us. The ranking is what the engine computes for your wallet against the offers and rules in our catalog. We never take money to push a card. — Shows the math: every recommendation surfaces the rule, cap, and portal that produced it. No black box. — Sources the numbers: reward rates and offers are validated against multiple independent sources before they ship. If a rate can't be confirmed, it doesn't appear. — Tracks the traps: hidden caps, portal routing requirements, milestone tiers — surfaced when relevant to the recommendation. PRIVACY What we collect: — Email + display name, from Google sign-in. — The list of cards you tick as "in your wallet" — card products only, never numbers, never CVV. — Recommendation requests at checkout (merchant domain + amount), processed in memory and immediately discarded. What we never collect: — Card numbers, CVV, expiry, PIN, OTP. — Transaction history or bank-statement data. — Browsing outside cart and checkout pages of supported merchants. — Contact list, location, microphone, camera, files, screen content. Full privacy policy: https://maxmunafa.in/privacy Delete your account in two clicks from the popup — wipes our records of you. PRICING Free during the private beta. A nominal ₹99/year subscription is planned after beta — pays for itself the first time you swap an online order off your default card to a better-earning one. COVERAGE — 50+ Indian online merchants across shopping, food delivery, travel, pharmacy, electronics, and entertainment. — 200+ Indian credit cards across every major issuer. — Reward rates and offers refresh on a daily ingest so the recommendation reflects current deals, not last quarter's rate card. — New cards and merchants added weekly. Email us if yours is missing. BUILT FOR INDIA — Rupee figures throughout. — Indian merchants only. — Indian payment context: tracks reward portals, bank instant offers, and RuPay-on-UPI routing where they apply. — DPDP Act 2023 compliant. Data stored in Mumbai. LIMITATIONS WORTH KNOWING — Desktop browsers only today. Android (accessibility overlay) and iOS (manual advisor) are on the roadmap — join the waitlist at https://maxmunafa.in/#mobile. — Reward rates change without notice. Our catalog refreshes daily (typically less than 24 hours old); we don't guarantee real-time accuracy. Always verify on your statement. MADE IN INDIA Built by a small team in Bengaluru. We hold the same 3–5 cards you do; we built this because we kept forgetting which card to use where, and no app would give us a straight answer.
