Max AI — LinkedIn Connector This extension is a companion to the Max AI web app. It does one thing: when you click "Connect LinkedIn" inside Max AI, it securely hands your existing LinkedIn session to your Max AI workspace so the web app can show your LinkedIn data alongside the rest of your work. You must have a Max AI account to use this extension. The extension is useless on its own — it has no UI beyond a small status popup, and does nothing until you trigger pairing from the Max AI app. What the extension does - Reads the LinkedIn authentication cookies (li_at, JSESSIONID) that your browser already stores after you sign in to LinkedIn. - Makes a single request to LinkedIn's profile endpoint to confirm which LinkedIn account is signed in (your name and member ID). - Sends that information to your Max AI workspace so it can be associated with your account. - Shows a small popup with the connection status and a notice when a newer version of the extension is available. What the extension does NOT do - It does not read, modify, or inject anything into LinkedIn pages. - It does not scrape, automate, or simulate user actions on LinkedIn. - It does not run in the background, on a schedule, or without your action. - It does not collect your LinkedIn messages, contacts, search results, or browsing history. - It does not sell or share data with third parties. Requirements - An active Max AI account. - A signed-in LinkedIn session in the same browser profile.
