Matat Translate

Translate the Shopify admin interface into Hebrew, Arabic or Russian. Every phrase is hand-written and mapped. Works offline.

Matat Translate shows the Shopify admin in Hebrew, Arabic or Russian — for every member of your team, in their own language. Available languages: Hebrew, Arabic (beta), Russian (beta). HOW IT WORKS 1. Get a licence for your store at translate.matat.co.il. 2. Install this extension. 3. Sign in on the site and open "Connect the extension" — it connects by itself. From then on the admin appears in the language assigned to you. The account owner invites team members by email and picks a language for each person. HAND-MAPPED, EXACT Every phrase in the interface is written and mapped by hand into a strict dictionary. The extension replaces only those exact, known phrases — and nothing else. YOUR DATA IS NEVER TOUCHED Product names, customer names, order numbers, tags, notes and anything else you or your customers typed are left exactly as they are. The page's content is never sent anywhere: the dictionary ships inside the extension. FAST, EVEN OFFLINE Translation happens on your computer. The extension contacts our server only to check the licence — when the browser starts, when you open its window, and otherwise once a day — and keeps working for 24 hours without a connection. ONE STORE PER LICENCE A licence covers one Shopify store. On other stores the admin stays as it is. The interface layout is not changed in any way — only the words. Arabic and Russian are marked beta until a native-speaker review is applied. Matat Translate is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc. "Shopify" is used only to describe what this extension works with.
