a tiny web-extension that make your browser start-up with your internet blocked. all pages are blocked, no background connections. you have to click the web-extension button to allow the internet. toggle the buttons when you feel like it. that's it. kind-of like a tiny firewall. originally designed to reduce the huge spike of CPU usage, and RAM consumption when restoring a previous/crashed session with a lot of tabs, and they all load at the same time. built around `declarativeNetRequest` and a static ruleset that blocks everything possible. the web-extension button toggle it enabled/disabled. when the ruleset is disabled, the internet is allowed. - no javascript code runs on the client no hosts permission, - the web-extension is unaware of requests, nor data. - no request/respose modification. - no data-collection. no ads. open source. https://github.com/eladkarako/webextension-master-internet-switch/ donations to help development in this link: https://paypal.me/31adkarak0
