Maru Gourmet Guide is a lightweight Chrome extension for browsing a curated set of Osaka restaurant recommendations with Maru, a cute chef-cat character. The extension shows selected Osaka restaurants in simple cards, including category, area, price range, and a short recommendation comment. It supports Korean, Japanese, and English. Main features: - Browse curated Osaka restaurant recommendations - View category, area, and price range information - Save favorites and view local history - Use a simple browser popup interface - No ads, no tracking, and no extra browser permissions Data and privacy: The current version uses a static recommendation JSON file bundled inside the extension package. It does not connect to an external backend, Firestore, gateway server, or remote code. Favorites, history, and settings are stored only in the browser's local storage. The extension does not collect, sell, transmit, or share user data. Current limitations: This version provides a fixed curated list. It does not provide live business hours, reservations, geolocation-based recommendations, AI chat, or real-time backend updates.
