Its foundations first laid down in 1967, Martı Hotels & Marinas started its operations in 1969 with Martı Resort Hotel —Turkey’s first resort hotel, which has reached a capacity of 280 rooms today. Still operating as a four-star facility, the 197-room Martı La Perla Hotel joined the group in 1988, followed by the 545-room Martı Myra Hotel in 1995. With its shares traded in the Istanbul Stock Exchange since 1989, Martı Hotel & Marinas is the first company in the Turkish tourism sector that opened to the public.
