Marli Anywhere puts your Lytica AI assistant in Chrome's side panel, so you can ask questions about your business data without leaving the page you're on. WHAT IT DOES • Side-panel chat — Click the Marli icon or press Option+M (Alt+M on Windows and Linux) to open the assistant in Chrome's native side panel. It stays docked while you browse, so your current tab stays visible. You can change the shortcut at any time from chrome://extensions/shortcuts. • Query your connected data — Ask questions in plain language about the data sources your organization has already connected in the Lytica platform (advertising platforms, CRM, data warehouse, accounting, and others). Marli draws on every source your organization has connected; there is nothing to configure per question. • Gmail thread analysis and reply drafting — With a Gmail thread open, Marli reads the thread, drafts a reply informed by your connected data, and inserts it directly into your Gmail compose box for you to review and edit before sending. If you have connected your Google account, Marli also matches your writing style using a small sample of your recent sent mail — see SCOPE AND PRIVACY below. • Ask about a spreadsheet — Attach an .xlsx, .xls, or .csv file to a chat and ask questions about what is in it. • Take action in connected tools — Ask Marli to make a change in a connected system, such as creating an item in Monday.com or an event in your calendar, and it carries it out. Before anything is deleted, or any message is sent on your behalf, Marli shows you exactly what it is about to do and waits for you to confirm. • Conversation history — Your chats are saved to your Lytica account, so you can pick one back up from the History tab or from the Lytica web app. • Settings — Turn the Gmail buttons off if you would rather Marli stayed out of your inbox, and reconnect an integration when its credentials expire. • Light, dark, and system themes — Matches your browser or OS appearance. WHAT YOU NEED An active Lytica Labs account. You sign in through your organization's identity provider (WorkOS SSO) from inside the panel. Without an account the panel shows only a sign-in screen. Sign up at lyticalabs.ai. SCOPE AND PRIVACY Marli Anywhere reads page content on Gmail only, and only to analyze the thread you have open and insert a draft you asked for. On Lytica and preview domains, it reads the current URL, localStorage, and auth-related DOM text only to detect sign-in state; it does not analyze or transmit general page content from those domains. It does not read the content of other websites you visit. Chat requests are sent to Lytica Labs servers and are tied to your Lytica account. If you connect your Google account to Lytica, Marli also matches your writing style when drafting. To do that, Lytica reads a small sample of your recent sent mail through the Gmail API — at most 12 messages from the last 12 months, each trimmed to 600 characters, with recipient addresses replaced by display names. The sample is stored against your Lytica account, refreshed about once a day, retained for no more than 90 days, and deleted when you disconnect Google. You can disconnect at any time from your Lytica account settings. Your mail is never used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's. Every request Lytica sends to a model provider is marked zero-retention and no-training, and that setting cannot be overridden per request.
