Markway

Highlight any web page and send it to Roam Research, Notion, Obsidian, the clipboard, or a Markdown file. Free to start.

Markway (previously Roam Highligher) is a markdown highlighter for the web. Select a passage on any page, highlight it, and Markway turns it into a clean Markdown note. Then send that note to Roam Research, Notion or Obsidian in the format that best suits your workflow. This is especially helpful if you're doing research, building your own knowledge base or just want to save your favorite articles. FEATURES: → Highlight and capture text on any web page → Send to Roam Research, Notion and Obsidian, automatically if you like → Copy as Markdown or rich text, or download a .md file → Templates to format your notes the way you want → AI prompts: ask a question about the page and put the answer in your note → Highlight PDFs in Markway's PDF viewer HOW IT WORKS: → Open Markway with the toolbar icon or Alt+M → Select text and click Highlight, or press Alt+H → Edit the note in the Markdown editor. Templates fill in the page title, link, author and date for you → Send it with one click, or let Markway send it automatically PRIVACY: Highlighting happens on your device.
