MarkVid — Bookmark Videos for Later

Save videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix, and anywhere else on the web, and pick up right where you left off.

MarkVid is a "read it later" list, but for video. Save anything you're watching on YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix, or any page with a video on it and come back to it later without losing your place. How it Works? • Open a video, click the MarkVid icon, hit Save. MarkVid grabs the title, thumbnail, duration, and current playback position automatically wherever the site makes that information available. • Some sites (like Netflix) don't expose a video's title in a way an extension can read reliably. For those, just type the title in yourself before saving, or rename it later from your saved list. Every save is editable, and you can add a note or tag too. • Right-click any video, or anywhere on a page, and choose "Save to MarkVid". No need to open the popup first. • Reopening a saved YouTube or Vimeo video jumps straight to your saved timestamp. STAYS OUT OF YOUR WAY • MarkVid only looks at a page when you tell it to by clicking the icon or using the right-click menu. It doesn't run in the background or watch your browsing. • Your list syncs across your own Chrome browsers via your Google account (chrome.storage.sync). There's no MarkVid server, no account to create, and nothing is ever sent anywhere else. • Search your saved videos, mark them watched, and export your whole list to a JSON file any time from Settings.
