MarkVault Clipper

Clip web pages and selections as Markdown into a self-hosted Obsidian vault.

MarkVault Clipper is a self-hosted Markdown web clipper for users who save web articles into Obsidian-style vaults. It lets you clip the current page or selected text, extract readable article content, convert it to Markdown, preview the result, copy it, download it locally, or send it to your own MarkVault Clipper backend. The backend can be deployed with Docker and writes clips into a configured local or server-mounted vault. You can choose the vault name, clipping folder, assets folder, tags, language, and whether page resources should be downloaded. MarkVault Clipper is designed for users who want to keep their clipped content under their own control instead of sending it to a third-party clipping service.
