MarkJump — Find Bookmarks Fast, 100% Local
Overview
Search bookmarks instantly with a keyboard shortcut. Find bookmarks by title, site, or folder — 100% local, no account, no cloud.
Search your bookmarks with one keyboard shortcut — and find the one you saved months ago, even when you only remember half the title. Your browser's bookmark manager is good at storing bookmarks and bad at finding them again. MarkJump is the finding half: instant fuzzy search across titles, sites, and folder paths, running 100% on your machine. • Open with Ctrl+B / ⌘B (rebindable), or the `bm` keyword in the address bar • ↑/↓ to move, Enter to open, ⌘/Ctrl+Enter for a new tab, Esc to close • Multi-word search, sort by best match / newest / oldest / A–Z • Notes: press ⌘E to jot why you saved a page — searched like any other field • Light/dark themes, English & 한국어 Radical privacy by design: • Minimal permissions — no history, no browsing data • Zero network requests, no telemetry, no accounts • An extension only ever sees the profile it's installed in Optional AI (off by default): connect your own local Ollama for semantic, natural-language search ("that article about async I saved"). Your notes are embedded too, so the words you'd actually use to recall a page find it. When enabled it talks ONLY to localhost — nothing goes to any cloud or third party. Bookmarks are embedded and cached on your device. No subscription. No sign-in. Your bookmarks never leave your machine.
