Marketplace Shield can flag patterns such as: - Suspiciously low prices on common high-value items. - Recent visible seller profile signals. - Shipping-only or no-pickup arrangements. - Deposit or prepayment requests. - Verification-code requests. - Obfuscated phone numbers. - Off-platform contact requests. - Outside checkout or product links in visible Marketplace chat. - Fake payment screenshots, pending-payment claims, account-upgrade fees, and overpayment stories. - Rental deposits before a tour. - Vehicle title, VIN, deposit, or wire-transfer pressure.
