)Overview
Block Facebook Reels and stay focused on Marketplace deals. Hard Lock, scheduled blocking, smart exceptions. Free, no account.
Marketplace Focus is a free Chrome extension that blocks Facebook Reels so you can use Facebook as a focused tool — not an endless scroll. Built for flippers, resellers, deal hunters, and anyone who needs Facebook for work without the distraction of short-form video. Whether you are sourcing inventory on Facebook Marketplace, managing buy/sell groups, or simply want a cleaner feed, Marketplace Focus removes Reels links, buttons, and video modules across all of Facebook while keeping everything else intact. 🚫 BLOCK FACEBOOK REELS Hides Reels buttons, links, and Reels modules across your entire Facebook experience. Choose between two blocking modes: Strong Blocking (recommended): Hides all Reels elements and redirects you back to Facebook Home if a Reels page opens. Nothing gets through. Light Blocking: Hides Reels buttons and links only. If you navigate directly to a Reels URL, Facebook may still show it. ⏸️ QUICK PAUSE Need to check a Reel someone sent you? Pause blocking for 5 to 180 minutes, then it automatically re-enables. You control the timer length in settings. 🔒 HARD LOCK (ANTI-BYPASS) Hard Lock removes the Pause button entirely and adds a cooldown delay before you can disable blocking. Perfect for moments when willpower alone is not enough. Set a turn-off delay from 0 to any number of minutes to prevent impulsive disabling. 📅 SCHEDULE MODE Set blocking to run automatically on specific days and hours. Ideal for work hours, study sessions, or anytime you need Facebook distraction-free. Supports overnight schedules and per-day selection. ✅ SMART EXCEPTIONS (ALLOW LIST) Allow Reels on specific Facebook pages or profiles while keeping them blocked everywhere else. Add rules by URL, path, or profile name — one per line. 🛡️ FRICTION CONTROLS Add confirmation prompts before you can disable or pause blocking. A small speed bump that prevents mindless unblocking. 🌙 MODERN DARK UI Clean popup interface and a tabbed Settings page with three sections: Blocking, Controls, and Schedule. Fast to set up, easy to adjust. 🎯 WHO IS IT FOR? Resellers & Flippers: Use Facebook Marketplace to source inventory and flip deals without getting pulled into Reels. Stay on task and close more deals. Remote Workers: Need Facebook for work groups and Messenger but not the distractions. Block Reels during work hours with Schedule Mode. Students: Stay focused during study sessions. Set a Hard Lock so you cannot bypass it when temptation hits. Parents & Mindful Browsers: Reduce screen time and short-form video consumption without deleting Facebook entirely. ADHD & Focus Tools Users: Pairs well with other productivity extensions. Hard Lock and Friction Controls are designed for impulse-prone moments. 🔒 PRIVACY & TRUST No account required. No data collection. No tracking. All blocking happens locally in your browser. Marketplace Focus only runs on facebook.com and requests zero unnecessary permissions. ⚙️ Built on Manifest V3, Chrome's latest and most secure extension standard. ⌨️ QUICK ACCESS Click the extension icon to toggle blocking, pause, or activate Hard Lock — all from a single popup. Open Settings for full control over modes, schedules, and exceptions. Stop letting Reels hijack your Facebook time. Install Marketplace Focus and take back control of your feed.
