Market Daybook is a trading journal that lives in Chrome's side panel, next to your broker or charting platform. Log a trade, and the extension reconstructs your position from the fills, prompts you to journal the context while it's fresh, and rolls it into a weekly review that catches the mistake you're about to repeat. HOW TRADES GET IN - Enter a trade manually, including multi-leg scale-ins and scale-outs. - Paste a table straight from your broker's trade history — columns are detected automatically, with manual mapping if needed. - Import a CSV: dedicated support for Fidelity, Thinkorswim (stocks), and NinjaTrader, plus a generic column-mapper for other brokers. WHAT YOU GET BACK - Automatic trade reconstruction: exact-decimal P&L, long and short positions, partial fills and scale-ins/outs handled correctly. - A journal for each trade: plan strategy, a reusable "trade mistakes" vocabulary, emotion and confidence ratings, and free-text notes. - A trading plan tab: pre-trade checklist, tagged strategies you define, plan-adherence score, and planned-vs-actual R on every trade. - A weekly behavioral briefing: one real strength, one costly repeated mistake, and one focused experiment for next week — only when the evidence supports it. - A compact, customizable dashboard and an Excel-like spreadsheet view of your trade log. PRIVACY, BY DESIGN Local-only. No account, no server, no network connection of any kind — the extension's own security policy blocks outbound connections entirely. Everything is stored in your browser, on your device. Export or delete your data anytime from the Data & privacy screen. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO (yet) Scoped to US equities, ETFs, and options. No Forex or crypto support. Futures work only through NinjaTrader's trade report import, using that broker's reported P&L rather than a full futures pricing model.
