Chrome Markdown Viewer renders Markdown files — local (file://) or remote raw URLs — in a clean, GitHub-style layout. No accounts, no paywalls: every feature is built in. RENDERING (each toggleable) - Tables (incl. MultiMarkdown), footnotes, task lists, definition lists, abbreviations - Math with KaTeX, diagrams with Mermaid (flowchart, sequence, Gantt, …) - Syntax highlighting (highlight.js), emoji, insert/mark, super/subscript, [[TOC]] - Front matter (YAML → table), GitHub alerts ([!NOTE], [!WARNING], …) - Auto-linkify, smart typography, configurable line breaks APPEARANCE - Light / dark / system theme, separate code themes for light and dark - Font size & family, code wrap, focus mode, centered layout, custom max width - Math with KaTeX, diagrams with Mermaid (flowchart, sequence, Gantt, …) - Syntax highlighting (highlight.js), emoji, insert/mark, super/subscript, [[TOC]] - Front matter (YAML → table), GitHub alerts ([!NOTE], [!WARNING], …) - Auto-linkify, smart typography, configurable line breaks APPEARANCE - Light / dark / system theme, separate code themes for light and dark - Tables (incl. LOCAL FILES: enable "Allow access to file URLs" on the extension's details page to view local .md files. The extension does not collect or transmit any data.
