)Overview
Highlight text, attach notes, and revisit your marks across sessions. Per-domain controls, sticky notes, and JSON export.
'Markd' lets you highlight text on any webpage and attach notes — all saved locally and restored automatically every time you return to the page. Highlights Select any text and instantly apply one of five colors. No confirmation step, no extra clicks. Click an existing highlight to change its color, edit its note, or delete it. Inline notes Attach a note to any highlight at creation time or any time after. Notes are visible on hover and searchable from the popup. Sticky notes Right-click anywhere on a page to drop a free-floating sticky note. Sticky notes are draggable, resizable, and support basic formatting. They persist across visits. Per-domain and per-page controls Disable Markd on specific sites or individual pages without losing your existing annotations. Popup dashboard Open the Markd popup to browse every highlight across all sites, filter by current page or annotated highlights, and manage your notes in one place. Export and import Back up all your highlights as a JSON file and restore them on any machine. Import merges with existing data — nothing is overwritten unless you choose Clear All. Privacy first Everything is stored locally in your browser. No account required. No data leaves your device.
